Chattahoochee Landing is a diverse, covenant governed community that is located at the intersection of Peachtree Industrial Blvd., and River Green Parkway in Duluth, Ga.  Location, Location, Location.  We are in close proximity to anything and everything.  There are 121 homes in our community that were built from 1994 to 1996 by MDC and Ryland with an average price of $212k.  While we do not have a community pool or recreational area, community members are out and about walking for their health, or with their dogs, doing yard work, and visiting with their neighbors.   While we all do not speak the same language, we have learned that a smile and a wave is a universal language.

Chattahoochee Landing is in the Duluth City Limits and is serviced by the Duluth Police Department.  This is a very active police department, and we see them cruising through often.   They often stop to say hello, and introduce themselves.  Kind of an old town feeling that makes you feel comfortable knowing they are familiar with your neighborhood should you ever need them.  And for goodness sake, be mindful of the speed limit or you will get to know them even better.

Students attend Chattahoochee Elementary and Duluth High School.  Both schools provide bus service to and from school.   Purple is the color around here, from the Duluth Wildcats to the trash bags that are picked up on Wednesdays.  We buy the trash bags at the local grocery store, which cost $22 for a box of 20.  This is how we pay for our trash pick up.  The Recycle truck also arrives on Wednesdays to pick up any recyclable items from the recycle bin you obtain from City Hall.   Just take proof of residence (light bill, etc.) to City Hall to get a recycle bin.

We have a city "dump" where we can take items that do not go in the trash, provided you have obtained a punch card to enter the dump area.  The Duluth
City newsletter has the form for acquiring the punch card or you can check out the links in our community area for additional information.
